Hangar

“Stracciatella”: flakes in literal translation. A type of texture that originated with the “terrazzo venetian wing” in ancient Greece and by the hands of the Romans arrived in Italy. It started to be used in industrial sheds and rescued, gained new reading during Brazilian modernism. The Hangar Series reproduces the original texture, with small fragments in earthy tones embedded in the cement. The wide-format plates reinforce the contemporary aesthetics of the texture, as well as the wear effect that is intentional.
